PC Gaming: Desktops Vs Laptops

The recent news of price increases in the console space has left some gamers looking for an alternative. PC gaming is notorious for its price, but the price hike of Sony’s online services should make gamers reconsider. A $500 console, paying a yearly fee of $60-$80, and also buying a few games for $70 each puts you pretty close to the price of a gaming PC. Gamers switching to PC gaming will reignite the age-old debate of whether gaming desktops or gaming laptops are better. While many people choose laptops for convenience, a desktop is a better choice in most cases due to its performance, upgradeability, and cost.

Rumors of a PlayStation 5 Pro have been circulating the internet. Some sources claim that it will have double the power of the original PlayStation 5. While in theory, a beefier PS5 sounds excellent, but is it necessary when the base model of the PS5 hasn’t even been fully utilized yet? The thought of a PS5 Pro releasing within the next year is strange to me considering that the PlayStation 4 is still getting new releases like Horizon Forbidden West and God of War Ragnarök. Can we even say the PS5 is being used to its full potential when some developers like Ubisoft are still catering to the base PS4?
